Ultimately, it would be better for your child to drink water with their lunch and have juice as an intermittent treat.<\/li><li><strong>Canned Fruit:<\/strong> The worse part about many canned fruits is that they contain added sugar in addition to the natural sugar and acids that are already present. Here are some tips to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Include lots of fruit, veggies, grains, and calcium-fortified dairy products, like cheese, yogurt, and milk.<\/li><li>Avoid sticky foods that aren\u2019t easily and quickly washed away by saliva.<\/li><li>Choose nutritious beverages that are low in sugar. Milk and water are both good options.<\/li><li>Include a travel toothbrush and toothpaste in your kid\u2019s lunchbox.
