We’ll tailor your child’s initial appointment based on their age and dental needs, but in general, after a short wait time, we’ll bring them to the back, and you’ll be able to accompany them if you want. We’ll take some X-rays of their mouth, clean their teeth, and then their dentist will perform a thorough oral exam. They’ll go over their observations with both of you and show you images taken by an intraoral camera so that everything is easy to understand. They’ll recommend any additional treatments that might be needed, and once you and your child have had your questions answered, we’ll bring you both back to the front.
